About District 22 Convention
About - Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
About - Our Convention
We are so excited to bring you the 57th Annual District 22 AA Convention with Al-Anon participation. Our theme this year is: Insist on Enjoying Life. Together with our friends from Al-Anon, we have planned a Convention filled with fun events, in person fellowship and recovery. We welcome you to join us for a three-day weekend of Speaker Meetings and Marathon Meetings, and a host of other AA and Al-Anon events. Note that we will start our convention on Friday at 3pm at the Vet's Hall in San Luis Obispo.
